Logistics Coordinator While reporting to the Warehouse Manager, position will be responsible for overseeing the efficient flow of materials and related information for the plant. The primary responsibilities will include coordinating various aspects of the supply chain & transportation, inventory management, communicating with the management team, scheduler, and shipping associates. This position is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of products, optimizing costs, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Location: Plant City What you'll be doing: Work closely with management team, scheduler, and warehouse/shipping associates. Attend production meetings, review shipping schedule, bills of lading, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments and shipping methods required to meet shipping needs. Schedule all outbound shipments though OTM system Coordinate pickups/deliveries and create BOLs for return products, storage trucks, cylinders, crates, and various other products. Communicate with CSRs on tracking, shipping, and receiving dates, over and under tolerance shipping quantities, and any other issues or concerns. Track shipments in transit, resolve any issues or delays, and provide timely updates to customers. Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction within the supply chain, proposing and implementing innovative solutions. Analyze logistics data, including transportation costs, delivery performance, and inventory levels, to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to implement industry-leading logistics strategies. Active role in GPS activities for the Shipping/Warehouse department and plant. Lead assigned shipping/warehouse Data Clerk and support area training needs. Support Warehouse Manager and Shift Production Team Leads perform the following responsibilities: o Act as Back-up for Warehouse Manager and area shift Production Team Leads. o File pack outs and shipping paperwork. o Receive incoming materials and verify against purchase orders or invoices. o Inspect received materials for damage or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate personnel. o Store materials in designated locations within the storeroom or warehouse. o Maintain accurate records of inventory levels using manual or computerized systems. o Assist with periodic inventory counts and reconciliations. We'd love to hear from you if: Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required Prior experience performing directly related Logistics Lead responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Proficient knowledge of logistics principles, practices, and procedures. Proficient knowledge of supply chain management concepts, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. Proficient with logistics management software and systems. Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook) Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. Preferred Requirements: Advanced experience performing directly related Logistics Lead responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Advanced knowledge of logistics principles, practices, and procedures. Advanced knowledge of supply chain management concepts, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
