Job Description

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) No nights. No Weekends. Tuition Reimbursement for LPN/RN Path. The Certified Nursing Assistant provides personal care services to hospice patients in their homes or facilities, supporting comfort, safety, and daily needs as part of the interdisciplinary care team. Schedule, Hours & Territory • Standard operating hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM • Kent County & Ionia Benefits • Medical, dental, and vision coverage • 401(k) with employer match at 100 percent on the first 3% and 50 percent on the next 2% • Health Savings Account eligibility with employer contribution up to $500 for individual coverage and $1,000 for two-person or family coverage • Company-paid Life and AD&D • Voluntary disability, accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity options • Employee Assistance Program, WillPrep, and travel assistance resources • Tuition reimbursement • Paid time off and paid holidays • Mileage reimbursement per company policy Key Responsibilities • Provide personal care, hygiene, and comfort measures • Observe and report changes in patient condition • Support patients and families with compassion and respect • Document care provided accurately and timely in the EMR HCHB (Homecare Homebase) Maintains the agency's mission, philosophy, and core values. Ensures compliance with agency policies and procedures regarding operations/processes, including but not limited to those regarding patient care, patient complaints, incidents, safety, and emergency management. Always maintains patient confidentiality, including all HIPAA regulations. Regulatory Requirements Licensed or registered in the state in which currently practices Must pass a criminal background check & MVR check. Completed health statements acknowledging the ability to perform the duties of the position. Valid state drivers license. Proof of current automobile insurance. TB testing per agency policy EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED Graduate from an approved training and competency course.
