Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Perfusionist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 04/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity:Perfusionist - Perfusionist Job Details:• Work 4 ten-hour shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday• On-call coverage required every 3rd weekend• Minimum 5 years of perfusion experience required with 1 year recent experience in Level 3 Trauma facility• Pediatric experience strongly preferred but not required• Prior travel experience preferred but not required• Must be able to operate point-of-care (POC) devices• High school diploma or college degree required for CAPS certification• Required certifications: BLS, ABCP (American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion)• Tennessee Clinical Perfusionist License required• Work with pediatric congenital heart patients ages 0-21 years• No ECMO procedures, occasional VAD procedures including pedimag/centrimag, heartmate III and berlin• Operate equipment including Spectrum HLM, Hepcon HMS, Frensenius CATS Cell Saver, Hemochron Jr. ACT, CardioQuip Heater Coolers• Work with VADs: Centrimag/Pedimag, Heartmate III, Berlin• Float requirements: No• Complete COVID vaccine series or valid exemption required by start date Facility:This premier children's hospital specializes in pediatric cardiac care and operates using an N+1 perfusion model.
