Overall,Purpose: Responsible for performing a variety of duties in the clinic manager role such as staff supervision, both the clinical and administrative functions including assisting physicians with patient care deliverables. Duties & ResponsibilitiesIncluding but not limited to: Exemplify quality customer service skills. Oversight of daily operationsoftheClinic. Must exemplify organization and delegation oftasksskills. Representsthe Company in a professional manner, following all Company policies and procedures andhandbook. Manage patient scheduling, frontdesk,and administrative processes. Assistwith management of budget, payroll, and cost control. Uses, protects, protected health information (PHI) onlyin accordance withHealth Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards. Mustpossessa current CPR certificate. Monitors OSHA compliance for the laboratory. Maintains patient medical recordsin accordance withCompany policy andmaintainsproper assembly of medical records. Overseemedication and stock supply orders to ensure accountability. Performs other duties as assigned. Management of insurance contracts and renewals. Able to successfully conduct clinicaudits. Coordinate staffing schedulesto meetpatient volume and operational needs. Conduct staff training and performance evaluations. Oversee building management. Ensureaccuratedocumentation for insurance claims and reimbursements. Serve as theliaisonfor health plan audits,inquiries,and qualityimprovementinitiatives. Address patient concerns andimplementprocess improvementsasneeded. Promote clinic programs andcommunityoutreachinitiatives. Must have consistent,punctual,and reliable attendance. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: Strong phlebotomy skills. Preferred Ability to document and report findings and observations. Ability to performEKGs.(MedicalAssistant, LVN, RN) Must be computer literate. Ability to interact and verbally communicate effectively with patients and all levels of personnel in a professional,courteousand effective manner with excellent customer service skills. Ability to multi-task in a high paced environment with good organizational skills. Ability to follow written and oral instructions and to work with general guidance. Knowledge of medical equipment and maintenance. Knowledgeand Enforcementof HIPAA regulations Ability to read, speaks, write, and understand the English and Spanish language fluently. Maintain Clinic Audit Ready ConductClinic Meetings Overseeaccurateandtimelyreporting of HEDIS, Starratings,and other quality measures. Monitor clinicaldocumentationto support riskadjustmentand quality metrics. Ensureadherence to health plan guidelines andidentifyareas for improvement. Requires flexibility with schedule and weekend shifts Strong teambuilding skillsrequired Ability to perform Front and Back-office Duties proficiently Duties as assigned Education High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED), medical assistant diploma from an accredited vocational institution, or a community college course in medicalassisting. Experience 2 or more years of medical office management experience Knowledge: Knowledge of health care field and medical office protocols/procedures. Knowledge of specific assisting tasks related to particular medical practice. Knowledge of information that must be conveyed to patients and families. Skills: Skill in performing Clinical Manager tasks appropriately. Skill intact and diplomacy in interpersonal interactions. Skill in understanding patient education needs by effectively sharing information with patients and families. Abilities: Ability to learn andretaininformationregardingpatient care procedures. Ability to project a pleasant and professional image. Ability to plan, prioritize, and complete delegated tasks. Ability todemonstratecompassion and caring in dealing with others. Physical Demands: Standing 60%, sitting 40%, walking 40%, lifting 50%, computer use 60%, bending 50%, stooping 50%,lifting upto 20lbs. WorkEnvironment: Work tasks can take place inside.The noiselevel ofthe facilityis moderate.Combination of medical office and exam/procedure room settings. Well-lighted, well-ventilated, adequate space. Mental/Physical Requirements: Must be able to useappropriate bodymechanics techniques when making necessary patient transfers and helping patients with walking, dressing, etc. Must be able tolift upto 30 pounds of supplies. Occasional stress from dealing with many staff and patients.
