This position is available on a per diem basis as needed. Providers may work from their own office or at designated facilities, depending on their location. Providers must have their own office to see Veterans. The Provider's office must be within a specified mileage radius of the primary city. The role involves conducting one-time non-treatment exams that are primarily interview-based, with some physical assessments. There is no prescribing or treatment involved in this position. The position requires quick credentialing and onboarding. We welcome candidates with a background in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine with experience in compensation and pension assessments. Follow-up administrative work is required regularly. Candidates must be prepared to complete additional training to obtain necessary certifications.
