This position involves coordinating and executing a variety of maintenance, repair, and cleaning tasks to bring properties to a move-in ready condition efficiently and effectively. The specialist collaborates closely with property managers, maintenance teams, and vendors to schedule and complete necessary work within tight deadlines. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction are essential, as the role directly impacts tenant experience and property reputation. Ultimately, the Make Ready Specialist ensures that each property is presented in optimal condition, contributing to high occupancy rates and positive community relations. Minimum Qualifications: Proven experience in property maintenance, construction, or a related field. Basic knowledge of building systems including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in property maintenance or related trades. Experience working in multi-family housing or property management environments. Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency with property management software or work order systems. Responsibilities: Inspect vacant units to identify necessary repairs, cleaning, and maintenance tasks. Perform or coordinate repairs including painting, flooring, appliance servicing, and minor carpentry. Ensure all safety and quality standards are met before tenant move-in. Schedule and oversee cleaning services to prepare units for occupancy. Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on each unit. Communicate effectively with property management and maintenance teams to prioritize and track work orders. Manage inventory of supplies and request additional materials as needed. Respond promptly to any issues or emergencies related to unit readiness. Skills: The Make Ready Specialist utilizes technical skills daily to assess and complete repairs, ensuring all units meet established standards.
