Ares Real Estate Exchange Manager Ares Wealth Management Solutions (AWMS) oversees the product development, distribution, marketing, and client management activities of investment offerings for the global wealth management channel. Backed by the scale of the Ares platform, AWMS provides advisors and investors with access to institutional-quality private market solutions across credit, private equity, real estate, and secondaries strategies. Position Summary This position is responsible for independently managing closing processes related to Ares Real Estate Exchange (AREX) 1031 exchange investor purchases and 721-exchange/UPREIT transactions. This role requires a detail-oriented, highly organized professional capable of coordinating multiple stakeholders, managing complex documentation workflows, and serving as a central communication point across internal teams, financial advisors, investors, qualified intermediaries, and external partners. Essential Job Duties Independently manage and close new investor purchases into the AREX program and post-closing investor transactions, including UPREITs, account transfers, and redemptions. Review and verify entity documents (trusts, LLCs, operating agreements, corporate documents) and prepare complete closing packages and loan-related documents. Serve as a key communication hub with financial advisors, investors, qualified intermediaries, and internal AWMS teams. Maintain transaction tracking workflows, deadlines, and milestone schedules within internal systems. Partner with the Client Services Team on investor account maintenance. Coordinate with loan underwriting teams on transactions involving debt financing. Assist in identifying process improvements and operational efficiencies. Support maintenance of structured, well-documented procedures and internal playbooks. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant transaction, real estate closing, or financial services roles. Experience reviewing trust, LLC, partnership, and corporate documentation preferred. Strong project management, workflow organization, and multitasking capabilities. Excellent attention to detail, time management, and follow-through. Professional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to team objectives. Comfortable in dynamic, fast-paced environments and managing deadlines under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Salesforce. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.
