People Operations Specialist Kavaliro is seeking a People Operations Specialist to support a client in California. The People Operations Specialist supports employees with HR-related questions regarding employment, onboarding, offboarding, and general HR processes. We collaborate with numerous stakeholders company-wide to ensure quality delivery of people-related services and implement and deliver critical people operations processes. The individual will be responsible for partnering with employees and department stakeholders. This role is a temporary contract role covering a leave. Role Responsibilities: Completes weekly first-day orientation onboarding paperwork, all necessary employment records, and files, including personnel and I-9 and related for US, Canada, LATAM new hires. Review benefit and payroll offerings and information during new hire orientation. Support company with contingent worker and partner population. Conduit monthly audits Experience with E-verify and supporting international transfers Some participation as a project member on company-wide HR initiatives. Support the company-wide HR strategy implementation to support business initiatives and growth and provide day-to-day associate relations guidance and support. Support the contingent and partner resource population Manage data entry and changes in Workday. Requirements Minimum Qualifications: 1+ years of work experience in human resources or related fields with an interest or background in HR or People Operations. Strong attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple priorities Fluent in Spanish is a plus Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to manage and analyze employee support scenarios Excellent written and verbal communication skills Workday experience is highly preferred Bilingual- Spanish is preferred.
