Assembler As an assembler, you will play a crucial role in constructing units by closely following instructions from the group leader and using detailed drawings. You will work across multiple stations and use hand and power tools to ensure tasks are completed safely and accurately. Responsibilities Read and follow dimensional drawings. Use tools such as impact guns, pliers, and wrenches. Rotate between different workstations. Assemble casings, frames, and A-coils. Route wiring and connect sub-assemblies. Identify and report defective parts. Record completed tasks. Essential Skills Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. Experience with assembly line processes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Familiarity with brazing and welding techniques. General labor experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Flexibility and adaptability to change. Team-oriented with a strong initiative to learn. Capable of repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs. Excellent attendance and a positive attitude are required. Compliance with PPE requirements. Expect to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs (non-repetitive), and stoop as necessary. The work schedule includes 2nd Shift from 3 PM to 11 PM and 3rd Shift from 11 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.53 - $27.14/hr.
