What Exciting Opportunities Await You? This role is essential in designing and generating impactful monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports that propel credit portfolio management forward. You will create and uphold a robust database reporting system tailored to our information needs and proactively anticipate both short-term and long-term requirements. With your expertise, you will produce analytical models for management, harnessing data from various repositories, crafting insightful reports, and identifying risk trends through rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis. Moreover, you will champion automation within our data and reporting processes to enhance overall productivity. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and generate comprehensive internal and external reports. Develop and deliver information that supports both tactical and strategic initiatives. Design and maintain database applications, reports, statistics, and graphics to provide deep credit analytics. Employ quantitative methods to assess credit and financial performance effectively. Utilize and maintain systems to gather and analyze critical credit and financial data. Analyze a substantial volume of monthly credit activity and financial data for accuracy, reconciling with the general ledger. Establish and implement necessary controls. Coordinate data access and identify technical resources for various projects, collaborating with colleagues to clarify their information needs. Proactively troubleshoot solutions that align with the strategic direction of the division. Prepare thorough documentation for all assigned projects and activities. Recommend enhancements or developments for new reports and tools to effectively measure performance. Maintain current knowledge of relevant banking laws, regulations, and internal policies, ensuring full compliance. What You Need to Succeed: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. A minimum of 3 years in a credit environment. At least 5 years of experience in data analysis. Minimum 5 years of experience with SAS, SQL, or other data management and reporting tools such as SharePoint, SAP, Business Objects, Tableau, Crystal Reports/Dashboard, etc. Additional Qualifications: Expert knowledge of PC environments and extensive experience with database reporting using query tools like SQL, Python, Tableau, and Excel. Significant prior banking experience along with proficiency in writing and developing financial reports and models. Outstanding process management and problem-solving abilities. Capability to independently design and customize solutions to meet specific goals. Strong understanding of accounting and financial analysis techniques. Excellent analytical and reporting skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. What’s In It For You? Compensation: Competitive base salary ranging from $70,000 to $130,000 per year, with variations based on your skills, experience, and specific location. This position is also eligible for bonuses and/or commissions.
