MEP Drafter

Job Title: MEP Drafter Location: Newark, NJ Type: Contract (6 Months) Compensation:$30-$40/hour Contractor Work Model: Onsite Hours: Monday through Friday(9AM to 5PM) MEP DRAFTERRESPONSIBILTIIES: Will take direction from senior engineers, documenting their designs, producing plans, sections, elevations, single line diagrams, layout drawings, details, schedules, etc. Drafting & documentation of MEP systems for various structures Planning of electrical infrastructure, including sub-stations, generators, EV charging stations, solar panel arrays, etc. Assist with specifications writing Preparation of contract documents QUALIFICATIONS HSD/GED required; secondary education or technical training preferred 3-5+ years' experience in a similar role Familiarity with ANSI, NFPA, NEC, and other relevant codes and standards a plus Experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing and telecommunications drafting preferred Understanding of standard MEP drafting symbols Revit Drafting a plus AutoCAD, MS Office, Adobe Acrobat experience required System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
