Overview The Driver safely and efficiently operates a box truck, delivering dry, refrigerated, and frozen food products as well as food service supplies to customer locations on a set route schedule. This role is critical in providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Responsibilities Safely drive a refrigerated box truck to deliver products to customers, primarily in the hospitality and food-service industries. Load, unload, and stack products at customer locations. Track delivery progress and report issues in real time using routing software on a mobile device. Communicate with dispatch and management by phone in a timely manner. Provide excellent customer service, including checking in orders and collecting payments upon delivery. Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and identify maintenance needs. Comply with DOT regulations and all traffic laws. Undergo safe-driving training and complete safety inspections, incident reports, and other required documentation. Maintain a positive Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Support the operations team by performing other related duties as needed. Qualifications Clean driving record (no reckless driving or DUI/DWI violations). Ability to pass a criminal background check. Valid DOT physical card. Minimum 1-2 years of box truck route delivery driving experience. Strong attention to detail with solid written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred. Able to work in various temperature zones (dry, refrigerated, frozen). Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet using ladders, lifts, and material handling equipment.
