Part-Time Student - Accounting Associate - Johnston, IA - 118473 Your Responsibilities As a Part-Time Student-Accounting Associate for JD Financial Worldwide Headquarters located in Johnston, IA, you will: Prepare in-house checks for virtual remittance to the bank. Prepare and post ALP payments, including coordinating with the Lease group to ensure proper application. Process rejected payments. Work with business areas to determine how to handle incoming checks and payments. Provide backup support for Accounts Payable tasks, when necessary, which may include AP balancing, POS PAY review, AP mailbox management, returned check research, outstanding check research, and unclaimed property research and reporting. This position is not available to students on immigration visas What Skills You Need Currently enrolled in college-level courses pursuing a degree in either Accounting or Finance; others may apply Must be registered as a full-time student at an accredited university Graduation date of spring 2028 or later Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above Must be able to commute to the work location in Johnston, IA, on a regular basis Ability to use standard desktop applications, including Microsoft Office, intranet, and internet functions. Ability to use department-specific computer programs. Reliability and self-motivation.
