Your Role: The industry subject matter expert (iSME) for Banking will empower the sales team by providing invaluable industry insights focused on regulatory change management and compliance solutions. This role carries sales quotas requires in-depth industry knowledge and the ability to drive buyer urgency through effective workflow analysis and compelling business case creation. The iSME will work closely with Compliance Solutions Sales Leadership and Account Executives to engage with prospects across the Banking industry. Key responsibilities include identifying opportunities, participating in executive-lever meetings to establish credibility for Wolters Kluwer, supporting deal strategies, advancing opportunities, and engaging throughout the sales cycle. The iSME also contributes to industry thought leadership through conference panels, whitepapers, webinars, and providing market feedback to our internal partners in product strategy, marketing, and beyond. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing our regulatory change management business. You will establish credibility, understand customer needs, increase confidence, and accelerate opportunities. Collaborating with Account Executives and Sales Managers, you will leverage sales data to drive performance and identify additional growth opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Partner with Account Executives and Sales Leaders to provide insights on Regulatory Change and our Compliance Intelligence suite. Analyze sales data to uncover growth opportunities and enhance product adoption, upsell existing offerings, and introduce new solutions. Drive strategic initiatives by collaborating on deal strategy and engaging internal partners to secure Compliance Solutions opportunities. Create detailed business cases by structuring customer goals and pain points for partnerships with Wolters Kluwer. Utilize defined sales methodologies to support the deal team's success. Share best practices within the team to enhance overall sales performance. Act as an industry Subject Matter Expert in initiatives supporting the sales organization. Collaborate on account reviews to stimulate new solution sales and improve customer retention. Partner with marketing to support thought leadership initiatives. You're a Great Fit if You Have: A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience. Experience in regulatory compliance, loan origination, fair lending, community reinvestment, and compliance industries. At least 5 years in an external-facing sales role, preferably in cloud-based technology solutions. The ability to clearly communicate the value of complex software solutions. A proven track record of quickly mastering new technologies and articulating their value. Exceptional communication skills in both face-to-face and virtual environments, adapting styles for senior stakeholders. Team-oriented mindset to collaborate effectively with sales colleagues. Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities independently. An analytical mindset with capability to interpret and act upon sales data.
