Receptionist Position St. Catherine of Siena Nursing and Rehabilitation and St. Catherine of Siena Hospital are proud members of Catholic Health and have served the residents of the Smithtown area for more than 50 years. St. Catherine's is located on the north shore of Long Island in Smithtown. The campus is comprised of a 240-bed nursing and rehabilitation care center; 296-bed not-for-profit community hospital and a 60,000 square foot medical office building. Job Description A receptionist's duties encompass greeting visitors, answering phones, managing call transfers, handling mail, and providing administrative support, while essential skills include strong communication, organizational abilities, and customer service skills. Here's a more detailed breakdown: Receptionist Duties: Front Desk Management: Greeting and directing visitors. Managing the flow of people entering and exiting the building. Ensuring the reception area is clean and organized. Telephone Management: Answering and transferring phone calls. Taking and relaying messages accurately and promptly. Paging overhead Administrative Support: Providing support to other departments Handling mail and deliveries. Customer Service: Providing information and assistance to visitors and clients. Addressing inquiries and resolving issues. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with residents, visitors & staff. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
