Production Manager

Our electronics manufacturing client is currently seeking a Production Manager for their facilities in Horsham and Fort Washington PA. They are seeking a highly experienced and driven Production Manager to lead their production operations and uphold their reputation for excellence in customer service and product quality. This role reports directly to the Director of Manufacturing and plays a critical part in executing production plans, optimizing team performance, and driving continuous improvement across the facility. They have openings on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift as well as their weekend operations. Relocation assistance is available for candidates outside of a commutable distance. This job will have the following responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of supervisors to ensure efficient and effective production operations. Execute production build plans in alignment with customer performance, quality, and delivery expectations. Ensure all process steps are followed precisely according to authorized work Instructions by properly trained personnel. Monitor staffing levels and placements, identify development needs, and optimize team performance. Define and oversee training programs for all production staff to ensure skill development and compliance. Foster a culture of ownership and excellence, production areas should reflect discipline, cleanliness, quality, and control. Ensure timely and accurate completion of all Quality Documentation. Track and manage yield loss and scrap, implementing corrective actions swiftly. Collaborate with the Director of Manufacturing and Product Engineering to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Partner with Engineering to resolve equipment and quality issues promptly. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or a related technical discipline. Minimum of 7 years of progressive manufacturing leadership, including multi-shift supervisory experience. Proven ability to plan equipment capacity, staffing, space, and material flow in a high-tech manufacturing environment. Demonstrated success in identifying and developing strong Supervisors and Process Leads. Experience in building high-performing teams and implementing personnel development plans. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to operational excellence. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. #JDP
