Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Melbourne, FL. Interested? Here's what you'd do: Repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations Mechanical and electronic assemblies and subassemblies of: Modules Boards Panels Drawers Frames Cables Follow diagrams, drawings, blueprint lines, and index points Design initial layouts Use hand and power tools, measuring instruments, jigs, saws, and fixtures Conduct quality inspections on processing lines in accordance with quality specifications Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions Follow approved assembly procedures for component or aircraft structures, including: FAA-approved internal procedures Original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) Technical data Work package instructions Perform serviceability tests as needed: Use test equipment specified in technical manuals Complete work package documentation as needed by FAA and repair station manual Submit completed work to Quality Assurance for final/in progress inspection and certification of airworthiness Inspect completed work to identify any needed rework before signing off Ensure that repaired components meet prescribed standards and tolerances Here's what you'll get: Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 / hr. Hours: 40 hrs/Week. (2nd shift). Job RequirementsRequired Skills / Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. 2-4 years of experience in aviation or aerospace assembly 2-4 years of experience in assembly of aircraft structures 2-4 years of experience using tech data and aircraft drawings to locate part numbers and accomplish repairs Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Good decision-making and leadership skills. Experience with avionics and flight controls. Proficient in riveting, installing related hardware, using precision instruments, and utilizing hand tools to perform these tasks. Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen. Ability to work different shifts and flexible hours if needed.
