Reports to: Associate Director, Strategic Partnerships Location: Washington, D.C. POSITION SUMMARY The Events and Sponsorship Coordinator is responsible for the seamless planning and execution of ACHP events and sponsorship programs that advance organizational goals, engagement and non-dues revenue. With strong project management and attention to detail, the Coordinator ensures ACHP events are delivered on time, on budget and in fulfillment of sponsor commitments with a high-quality experience for attendees, sponsors and partners. CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Meeting & Events Research and execute logistics for in-person and virtual meetings, webinars, dinners and other member programming. Track event timelines, deliverables and meeting expenses against budget. Maintain event and registration information by posting events, updating descriptions, generating registration and managing post-event reconciliation. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with key representatives from member plans partners, hotel contacts and vendors. Provide on-site support for local ACHP meetings. Sponsorships Serve as the primary point of contact for event sponsors and assist with onsite sponsor needs. Coordinate sponsorship activation and visibility across ACHP events. Support sponsorship engagement through tracking, inquiry response, prep sessions and material distribution. Operations Provide ACHP office support, including keeping public areas tidy, greeting guests, operating technology such as printers, video projection, coordinating catering and other assigned tasks. Maintain knowledge of core Operations functions to ensure role redundancy. Contribute to a collaborative, collegial team environment in support of organizational goals. Perform other duties as assigned. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS Associate or Bachelors degree, or relevant experience in meetings or event management preferred; Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation or interest in pursuing a plus 1-3 years of professional experience in meetings or event management, preferably in a not-for-profit environment or with a member association Excellent time-management and project-management skills and the capacity to successfully work on multiple projects simultaneously Strong written and oral communications skills Demonstrated customer service ethic Experience with expense reconciliation Ability to interact productively with member plans, ACHP staff and work in a highly collaborative environment Advanced skills in MS Office applications WORKING CONDITIONS Work is in a hybrid office environment, with 3 in-office days Must be located in the DMV area May be occasionally required to stand, walk or reach with arms APPLICATION PROCESS Please send your resume and cover letter to ACHP Human Resources at .
