In this critical role, you will support the development of integrated logistics packages and system engineering for a major US Navy weapon system. Collaborate within a dynamic team of engineers at various levels while providing essential support to senior stakeholders. Travel: No Clearance: An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is mandatory for this position. Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance. Requirements: Prior Navy Experience is necessary. Minimum of 5 years in developing logistics support requirements and relevant documentation for a major DOD weapon system utilizing GOTS and COTS products. At least 3 years of experience in logistics management that involves training product development for a major weapon, combat, and/or fire control system. Detail-oriented with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Expertise in Microsoft Office suite. Responsibilities: Engage in logistics engineering working groups and technical interchange meetings. Represent Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) at program meetings, analyzing proposed system changes for their impacts on logistics. Provide operational support for the ILS function through source material development. Ensure updates for engineering changes are reflected accurately in technical, operation, and maintenance materials. Support the design and user interface for a secure database tracking modifications related to ILS products. Act as the primary ILS coordinator for the Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System (TTWCS). Design and present logistics impact briefs and papers for a major US Navy weapon system. Review system requirements to pinpoint training and operational impacts. Develop training and logistics impact reviews for TTWCS engineering candidates, detailing affected logistics products and Fleet Support concerns. Provide fleet support feedback on change packages, contributing to requirements and design reviews. Prepare detailed reports on Tomahawk systems engineering change requests (CR) focusing on impacts and recommendations. Coordinate with Systems Engineering and Software teams to update procedural workarounds for TTWCS. Evaluate high-priority change requests considering Fleet Support/ILS impacts, tracking and developing supportive material. Manage documentation reviews across various working groups, compiling and processing feedback. Offer expertise in system tests, including requirements review, test plan development, execution, and evaluations. Assess qualification tests for fleet operational procedures coverage. Create ILS Impact Statements for all new enhancements related to TTWCS. Preferred Skills and Experience: Comprehensive understanding of Naval Surface Warfare programs, such as AEGIS and Tomahawk. Proficient in Microsoft Access and Jira. Education: Navy schooling related to Tomahawk Firecontrol Compensation: At SimVentions, compensation is determined based on various factors including experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, and alignment with our compensation plan. The projected annual compensation range for this position is $52K - $77K (USD), reflecting the standard salary for this role and part of a comprehensive compensation package.
