Construction Cost Estimator

We’re seeking a skilled and experienced construction estimator to join our team. You will assist our busy team by producing proposals, cost estimates, and detailed takeoffs for construction projects. Our ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in construction estimation in the remodeling industry and very strong communication and project management skills. Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 yearly per year plus benefits (Retirement, Health Insurance, PTO). Responsibilities: • Furnish accurate and clear quantity takeoff information to provide a detailed list of materials and assess the total construction costs • Visit construction sites to obtain necessary client requirement information • Revisit previously submitted proposal and budgets with clients • Analyze blueprints, proposals, specifications, and construction documents to understand the project as a whole • Produce written proposals, cost estimates, budgets, and updates for clients and project managers Qualifications: • Three years of experience in the construction industry - project estimating or construction management is needed • Exceptional time-management, project management, and communication skills are essential • Knowledge of data and risk analysis, research methodology, accounting, and estimation metrics is critical • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and construction estimating software • Requires critical thinking, analytical skills, and very strong math skills • Experience with Project Management Software (We use Jobtread) • Experience using AI Tools such as Chatgpt Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 yearly• Compensation: $70,000-$80,000 per year
