Manual machinist - 1st shift

If you can interpret a drawing and hit your tolerances with little supervision, you'll fit right in. salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year shift: First work hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PM education: No Degree Required Responsibilities Responsibilities: Operate Machinery in a Metal Fabrication Environment Machine Parts From Supplied Shop Drawings Experience requirements: Min 2 years as experienced machinist Desired Skills: Must have the ability to operate manual machines (CNC, manual lathes, drilling, manual milling, presses (brake), etc..) Demonstrated ability to strategically select and operate the appropriate manual machinery to complete multi-stage fabrications from shop drawings Familiar with Measuring Tools Such as Calipers, Micrometers, etc... Ability to Interpret Shop Drawings strong Documentation Skills The essential functions of this role include: wearing steel toe shoes working in a non-temperature controlled environment manual lifting up to 40lbs standing for 8 hours at one time working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week Skills Calipers Micrometers Blueprint Reading (1 year of experience is required) Machine Operating (2 years of experience is required) Qualifications Years of experience: 2 years Experience level: Experienced Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
