QC Inspector I Job Category: Quality Control Requisition Number: QCINS001914 Posted: February 10, 2026 Full-Time Headquarters: Houston, TX 77075, USA Description Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Adheres to all company quality, safety policies/procedures and maintains a clean working environment. Working from verbal or written instructions, quality standards, and/or other quality documents. Dimensionally inspects machined parts using a variety of measuring and gauging instruments. Performs in-process and final inspection to ensure customer quality standards are met. Generates, maintains, and logs inspection data. Generates and communicates NCRs when standards are not met. Initiates and maintains positive interaction between quality and production leadership. Ensures all measuring equipment is calibrated, kept clean and stored in a manner that protects it from damage. Performs other related duties as assigned by quality leadership. Qualifications & Experience: Able to read and write English. Previous inspection experience preferred but not required. Must be proficient in the use of calipers (dial, digital, depth), tape measure, plug gages, and thread gages. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints. Must be proficient in visual inspection. Must be able to obtain required job-related documents from ERP. Must be able to log labor and transfer parts in Data Collect system. Physical Requirements & Work Environment: Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Exposure to loud and sometimes excessive noise levels. Exposure to particulate contaminants. Able to stand, crouch, and bend for long periods of time. Must always wear appropriate PPE in working areas.
