OverviewAt After.com, were flipping the traditional funeral industry on its head; replacing overpriced, overcomplicated services with modern, compassionate, and affordable care. We need a dedicated project manager to own the end-to-end execution of new market launches.This is an execution role. You will inherit a market expansion roadmap and be responsible for making launches happen on time, every time. Your job is to eliminate chaos, enforce deadlines, and ensure nothing stallsYou will work directly with the CRO and cross-functionally with Care Operations, Product & Engineering, Marketing, and Community Outreach to coordinate successful market launches.Your roles and responsibilitiesManage the geographic expansion calendar: launch timelines, milestone tracking, and cross-functional dependenciesBuild and maintain internal launch packets and transition plans for post-launch ownership by Care Ops and Market LeadsConduct post-launch performance audits within 30/60/90 days of market openDocument and continuously improve SOPs for market launches, turning chaos into repeatable playbooksSuccess looks like8+ new markets launched in 202615+ new markets launched by end of 2027What we're looking for2-3 years experience in project manager, operations, growth, or chief-of-staff-like roles at a fast-growing companyComfortable operating in ambiguity and creating structure where none existsStrong project management chops: You can manage cross-functional timelines and make sure nothing slips through the cracksScrappy, action-oriented, and allergic to corporate bloat, youd rather test fast and fix it than build a 40-page deckA systems thinker who always asks, How do we make this repeatable? and thrives in ambiguityNice to haveYou LOVE to travel!Experience in multi-location service businesses (healthcare, home services, logistics)Background in funeral, hospice, or senior care industriesWhy this role mattersYoull be a critical right hand to our CRO, helping After.com scale revenue without bloating the org.
