You will assist with manual machining and milling, complete project set‑ups, and execute production work while maintaining the highest standards of quality, craftsmanship, and safety.Key Responsibilities Perform TIG welding on non‑ferrous metals (brass, aluminum) Perform MIG welding on steel (16‑gauge through ¼" thickness) Assist with manual machining, milling, and fabrication tasks Set up and execute production operations for diverse custom projects Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Maintain strict quality and safety standards Properly use and maintain PPE and shop equipment Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in a fabrication or production environment 3–5 years of hands‑on TIG and MIG welding experience Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment, including: Band saws Drill presses Grinding and sanding machines Advanced ability to read and interpret blueprints Strong attention to detail with a focus on precision and finish quality Preferred Background Experience in furniture fabrication, architectural metal, mechanical work, or a similar field Background in custom or high‑end fabrication environments Work Environment Modern fabrication shop with a hands‑on, collaborative culture Mix of sheet metal fabrication, TIG, and MIG welding Primarily a 4‑day workweek, with overtime as project demands require Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Philadelphia, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.This role offers a competitive salary in addition to inclusion in the company's profit sharing, 401K, medical, and dental programs.
