Human Resources Specialist (Military)

Human Capital & Resource Management Career Field Position Provide administrative and management support for the accomplishment of personnel functions for assigned programs. Review personnel action requests to ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Provide personnel management support to Army Reserve personnel within the area of operations. Interpret regulations and policies, and advise on appropriate action as related to Human Resources. Manage military databases and compile administrative status reports. This position is subject to Drug Abuse Testing Program requirements. Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. This position requires active membership as a soldier in the U.S. Army Reserve (USAR). OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Human Resources or Business Administration. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
