Front Desk Receptionist In Coral Gables, Kendall, Homestead & Weston, Luxury Senior Living Communities is looking for a Front Desk Receptionist for its Brand New Palace at Weston, an Independent, Assisted Living & Memory Care Community located at 16025 Emerald Estates Drive, Weston. The #1 priority of this position is to: Answer phones. Make the best first impression & provide effective customer service. Promote positive public relations with residents, family members and guests. Interact with the residents & greet incoming visitors. Direct visitors to proper locations. Be attentive to surroundings and help as necessary. Provide clerical support for the administrative staff. Essential duties & responsibilities include: Answer phones with proper phone etiquette & direct all calls in a polite & friendly manner to the appropriate person. Monitor the doors as to incoming & outgoing persons. Maintain lobby area in an orderly manner, free from clutter at all times. Report unusual incidents to management. Qualifications: Previous experience in work involving public contact such as customer service, is desirable. Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English & Spanish. Able to operate a multi-line telephone system. Must be computer literate with extensive knowledge of Microsoft programs. High school degree or equivalent required. College education preferred. The ideal candidate: Is polite, responsible, outgoing, punctual, always on time, resourceful, very accurate and detail-oriented. Is flexible as to work schedule. Must be available to work on weekends, holidays & in emergencies. Can work under pressure and multi-task. Has the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form. Is self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently AND as a team member. Enjoys teamwork.
