11633BRPRS Facility Location:Leased Office - Southlake, TXJob Purpose:The Tradeshow & Event Coordinator serves as the operational engine behind Progress Rail's tradeshow and event presence across all business units-Locomotive, Infrastructure, Freight Car, and Advanced Rail Technology (ART). At Progress Rail, the team is not just building the future of rail-they are making history every day.Education / Training:Bachelors degree from accredited university, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or Journalism preferred.Job Title:Trade Show and Event CoordinatorCity:SouthlakeKey Job Elements: Tradeshow Strategy & Planning Partner with each Business Unit to understand annual priorities. Build and maintain a master tradeshow calendar. Support development of show strategy, messaging, and booth content. Event Logistics & Execution Coordinate all booth logistics. Manage onsite vendor relationships. Prepare staff briefing materials. Coordinate catering and customer dinners Cross-Functional Coordination Liaison between MCCE and Business Units. Ensure accurate representation of all solutions. Track and manage internal deadlines. Communication & Deliverables Develop event communications-both internal and external. Manage creation of collateral and multimedia assets. Support press releases and executive messaging. Budget, Reporting & ROI Build and manage event budgets. Conduct cost-benefit analysis. Track KPIs. Qualifications and Experience:Required Qualifications 3-5+ years in tradeshow/event coordination. Experience managing large-scale tradeshows and customer events Strong technical aptitude. Experience with logistics and vendors. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Travel 25-50% (National and International) Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting multiple product lines. Familiarity with Progress Rail and/or Caterpillar brand standards. Understanding of rail industry trade shows, associations, and press Experience with creative agencies. Graphic or digital content coordination skills.
