Locum Cardiothoracic Surgeon Opportunity Michigan Seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to provide night call and weekend coverage within a Level I trauma, hospital-based practice. Position Details: Adult patient population Provide cardiothoracic surgical care including cardiac and general thoracic procedures Coverage includes primarily weekend call (Friday evening through Monday morning) with potential for one additional week of call per month Approximately one surgical case per weekend Dedicated daytime access to two cardiovascular surgery operating rooms EMR: Epic Required Procedures: Adult cardiac surgery including CABG and valve repair/replacement General thoracic surgery including lung biopsy, lung resection, pneumonectomy, and mediastinal procedures Tube thoracostomy, pericardial window, thoracotomy, and decortication Requirements: Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery Active Michigan medical license or ability to obtain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required Clean malpractice and license history preferred NPDB self-query required at presentation Additional Details: Estimated credentialing timeframe is approximately 90 days Travel and lodging accommodations are provided This opportunity offers coverage within a high-acuity trauma center supported by a dedicated cardiovascular surgical team. by Jobble
