Management Assistant Join our team at University Village Apartments as our Management Assistant! Job Details: Hours: Monday - Friday, 10am - 6:30pm Pay: $19 - $21 / hour Location: 2515 University Ave SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414 Benefits: 401(k) Match Healthcare Benefits Paid Vacation Time Paid Sick Time Paid Holidays and Floating Holidays DailyPay Management Assistant Responsibilities: Leasing Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the project's rental criteria, unit availability, features and benefits, market rents and current leasing specials. Prepares all advertising and outreach materials with assistance from Assistant Managers. Respond to inquiries regarding unit availability and property information while creating excitement for, and encouraging the prospect to schedule, an appointment to visit the property. Ascertain the prospective resident's needs, wants and financial parameters with regard to housing and conduct leasing tours of units which meet those needs, wants and financial parameters. Encourage prospective residents to complete the project's rental application and submit a security deposit to "hold" a specific apartment. Communicates with applicants by completing cancel, deny letters, to be set the same day. Submit prospect's application to the community's screening company and present results to Asst. Manager Leasing & Marketing as required. Assist in preparing lease-related paperwork in an accurate and timely manner. Review with new residents all lease related document questions including, but not limited to, the Residential Lease, addenda and Rules and Regulations and, with the new resident, conduct a formal move-in inspection, if requested and home orientation. Ensures quality of cleanliness of all vacant units and common areas. Marketing Assists in coordination of marketing activities designed to expose the property to the local community. Collect competitors marketing and leasing information, specials, and occupancy/preleased information. Update on-line listings daily or as needed, including but not limited to, Off-Campus listing, Craigslist, Collegerentals.com, Apartments.com. Update and Coordinate Social Media networking and advertising. Resident Retention Contact residents after work order completion for satisfaction check. Assist Asst. Community Managers in coordinating the annual survey, move in survey, and pre-renewal survey. Create and distribute monthly resident newsletters. Coordinate resident events including Open House, 1 st day of semester breakfast, finals pizza, safety meetings, and summer picnic, etc. Management Assistant Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Knowledge of office practices, procedures, systems and equipment including, but not limited to, Microsoft applications Word, Outlook and Excel. Good interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
