Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician Job Category: Office Support Requisition Number: MAINT004460 Full-Time On-site Rate: $22 USD per hour Location: Ashland, OH, USA Job Details Core Responsibilities: Must maintain a safety-first attitude and follow all company safety requirements. Ensures production lines and other equipment are always maintained and able to run Completes work requests as defined by plant engineer, plant manager and shift leaders. Services lines by completing daily preventative maintenance. Contributes to line commissioning after maintenance/process events Assumes a strong role in the understanding and implementation of plant projects Operates in a manner that provides value to the team Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management Complete tasks with other maintenance personnel while working within a team environment. Shift: Thursday-Saturday 6:45pm-7:15am. Qualifications: 3 or more years in a similar position Proven experience in working with and troubleshooting: Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic Strong background in manufacturing systems in dynamic fast-paced manufacturing environment Forklift certified Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings a plus Strong decision making, analytical skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Strong mathematical skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment Work schedule flexibility, with advance notice, to accommodate needs of the business Strong electrical/mechanical aptitude Electrical experience is a plus, but for 4th shift a strong mechanical background would be ok as majority of the work tends to be more mechanical and PM work. Education Requirements: High school diploma/GED required.
