Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources this full-time, salaried position is an exciting opportunity for a bilingual HR professional who loves building meaningful relationships and ensuring every team memberwhether in hospitality, healthcare, food & beverage, housekeeping, building services, or morefeels supported, heard, and valued. Ideal for a self-starter with 2+ years of HR experience, this hands-on role blends strategic partnership with essential day-to-day impact, guiding team members through benefits enrollment, maintaining an approachable open-door HR presence, and ensuring strict confidentiality and full compliance with local labor laws and organizational policies. You will lead key HR functions including the full lifecycle of recruitmentcollaborating with Mather's Talent Acquisition team, cultivating local talent pipelines (such as nursing and training programs), interviewing candidates, and delivering a seamless onboarding and orientation experience. This positionnot a traditional 9-to-5offers flexibility to support a vibrant, 24/7 community, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Success in this role stems from your strong HR functional knowledge, exceptional communication skills, eye for detail, compliance-focused approach, and proficiency in ATS and HRIS platforms in a paperless environment. Essential Functions: Recruiting: proactively apply recruitment tactics to ensure a strong recruiting and onboarding strategy comes to life for opening and beyond. Develops community partnerships and relationships for robust pipeline development. Benefits: local annual benefits enrollment, billing/reconciliations, on-going Q&A, and compliance. Positive work environment: triage team member relations concerns, maintain an on-going "listening strategy." Health & Safety: partner with all experience center leads to deliver a safe working environment. Compliance: ensure compliance with federal and state labor law, (EEO, wage & hour, regulatory agencies), maintain a consistent approach to records management in a paperless HR environment with the highest degree of confidentiality (HR/payroll system/employee files), partner with payroll administrator to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. Promote regular two-way feedforward and teamwork in all areas. Be a Mather ambassador in the local community. Establishes, operationalizes, engages team members in, and sustains a Quality Assurance Process Improvement process. Required: Proficient PC skills, excellent people skills, communication skills and organizational skills, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Experience with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 2+ years of HR experience. Preferred: SHRM or PHR certification. Experience in luxury senior living space/ luxury hotels / resort is a plus. Bilingual (English/Spanish).
