Pride Health is hiring Entry Phlebotomist - (Patient Service Representative) to support our client’s medical facility in Deerfield Beach, FL. This is a 3+ month contract with the possibility of a contract hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Title: Entry Phlebotomist - (Patient Service Representative) Location: Deerfield Beach, FL 33442 Pay Rate: $16 - 17.75/hr. on W2. Duration: 5+ Months Shift: Mon-Fri 6am to 4pmPay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications. Job Responsibilities: Acts as the first point of contact for patients Greets patients warmly and answers questions with care and respect Helps patients feel comfortable and explains what to expect during their visit Maintains a clean, safe, and organized waiting/lobby area Assists with patient check-in using self-service kiosks or tablets Provides excellent customer service while protecting patient privacy Helps cover breaks when phlebotomists are unavailable Will be trained in phlebotomy to grow within the company Works under the direction of the area supervisor Completes daily tasks accurately and on time Maintains required records and documentation Shows a positive, professional attitude and willingness to learn Job Requirements: Strong customer service skills are essential Ability to treat patients with care and compassion Willingness to learn phlebotomy skills and assist when needed After training, perform clinical and forensic specimen collection Ability to use a computer for data entry and documentation Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required 2-4 years of customer-facing experience required (retail, healthcare aide, etc.) No prior phlebotomy experience required Keyboard and data entry experience required Pride Global offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance, and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
