Food & Beverage Manager The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for leading lounge operations in a safe, compliant, and well-controlled environment at HeadPinz and FastTrax Entertainment Centers. This role places primary emphasis on responsible alcohol service, guest safety, crowd control, and regulatory compliance while overseeing lounge staff, maintaining service standards, and protecting company assets. The Food & Beverage Manager ensures that the lounge operates as a safe, enjoyable space through consistent enforcement of policies, alcohol laws, and operational procedures. In addition to lounge leadership, this role supports group functions and high-volume events by assisting kitchen operations as needed. This includes coordinating with culinary leadership during group functions, supporting expo and food flow, and helping ensure timely, accurate execution of group menus to maintain guest experience and operational efficiency. Safety, Alcohol Compliance & Risk Management (Primary Responsibility) Enforce all federal, state, and local alcohol service laws and company alcohol compliance policies without exception. Verify and ensure all lounge staff maintain current alcohol certifications as required. Monitor guest behavior and alcohol consumption to prevent over-service, intoxication, or unsafe situations. Exercise authority to refuse service, remove guests, or close sections of the lounge when safety or compliance is compromised. Maintain active crowd control during peak hours to ensure safe guest flow and prevent disorderly conduct. Respond to, document, and escalate alcohol-related incidents, guest injuries, or safety concerns. Maintain awareness of emergency procedures and lead response efforts within the lounge area as trained. Lounge Operations & Staff Oversight Supervise, schedule, train, and coach bartenders, servers, bussers, and support staff assigned to the lounge. Ensure consistent execution of service standards, cleanliness, and professional conduct. Oversee opening, shift-change, and closing procedures specific to lounge operations. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of lounge seating, bar areas, and service stations. Operations, POS & Asset Protection Oversee POS operations, cash-handling procedures, and end-of-shift reconciliations. Monitor alcohol inventory, glassware, and lounge supplies to prevent loss, theft, or misuse. Ensure compliance with pricing, promotions, and service policies. Address equipment or facility issues promptly and coordinate repairs as needed. Leadership, Training & Accountability Lead by example through visible floor presence, professionalism, and policy enforcement. Train staff on alcohol compliance, safety expectations, and guest interaction standards. Enforce accountability, corrective action, and discipline in accordance with company policy. Collaborate with security, guest services, and management teams to maintain a unified safety approach. Business & Administrative Responsibilities Assist in managing labor, scheduling efficiency, and lounge performance metrics. Review incident reports, sales reports, and operational data to identify risk trends and improvement opportunities. Support special events, promotions, and high-volume nights while maintaining safety standards. Act as Manager on Duty for lounge operations when assigned. Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 35 years of experience in bar, lounge, or food & beverage leadership roles. Strong working knowledge of alcohol service laws, compliance standards, and risk management. Proven ability to lead teams in high-volume, nightlife, or entertainment environments. Excellent communication, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills. Physical & Environmental Requirements Ability to stand and walk the lounge area for extended periods. Ability to respond quickly to guest issues or safety concerns. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and late-night hours.
