The CardioVascular Center at Tufts Medical Center is seeking an adult cardiac surgeon to join its renowned Division of Cardiac Surgery. The ideal candidate will have an interest in end-stage cardiac disease and support the growth of the clinical and academic programs of the Division. Early- and mid- career surgeons, as well as new graduates, are encouraged to apply.Primary clinical responsibilities will include the broad spectrum of adult cardiac surgery with a special emphasis on heart transplantation and mechanical circulatory support. The recruited surgeon will have ample opportunities to establish a robust practice and advance his/her career.About the Division of Cardiac Surgery and Tufts Medical Center: The Division is part of the CardioVascular Center, an integrated Heart and Vascular Center with financial and strategic alignment across Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, and Vascular Surgery. Has robust and growing interdisciplinary programs in cardiac arrhythmia, structural heart disease, aortic disease, and ischemic heart disease. Performs approximately 1,000 cardiac surgical operations per year Has one of the largest heart transplant programs in the country; in 2024, Tufts cardiac surgeons performed a record 70 heart transplants, the most of any center in New England.
