Warehouse Associate - Wholesale Distribution The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Associate is to assist in the day-to-day operations of a pharmaceutical distribution warehouse. This role also supports inventory control, maintains a clean and organized workspace, and addresses shipping-related issues to facilitate smooth operations on the production floor. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Pack customers' orders and accompanying paperwork into envelopes, boxes, or coolers with ice as needed. Address shipment-related issues using the shipping solution software. Assist with processing/receiving daily purchase orders and FIFO inventory control Help organize and store supplies appropriately. Support the retrieval of supplies from stock and their transfer to the production floor. Maintain workstations and ensure the production floor area is clean and organized. Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Effective verbal communication skills Ability to work with peers in a team effort Basic knowledge of workplace safety and sanitation practices. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Problem-solving abilities to address shipment-related issues. A well-organized and self-directed individual who is able to work with minimal amount of supervision Capability to efficiently complete tasks in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift and move supplies or packages and lift heavy objects up to 40 pounds Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays in alignment with departmental and industry demands Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED Previous experience in a shipping, warehouse, or production environment (12 years preferred). Preferred Skill/Abilities: Prior experience in warehouse or distribution/fulfillment operations preferred. Familiarity with shipping software and inventory management systems (preferred). Work Environment/Physical Requirements: Production/warehouse environment, with exposure to some noise and machinery. Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time. Ability to lift, pull, push containers up to 40.
