Customer Service Representative The Surgery Scheduler schedules all surgical procedures and assures that appropriate clinical and insurance coding information is collected. Scheduler receives requests to schedule procedures and schedules the procedure according to established guidelines. Maintains accuracy in the upcoming surgical schedule, speaking directly with Physician offices, and fostering a close working relationship with all the departments involved. Minimum Training and Education: Education: High School Degree or Equivalent Work Experience: 3 years. Considerable knowledge and skill in the application of the techniques and practices of OR Scheduling. Considerable knowledge of complex medical terminology and advanced disease processes preferred.
