This is an exciting opportunity to work with the Rolling Stock business internally on Capital Spare Parts and Special Tools. If you have a finance background and project management experience this is your opportunity to shine.What your day-to-day will look like: Ensureclean and accurate record keeping of the financial documents of theproject in adherence to Company's policies and Financial ReportingGuidelines. Prepareaccurate Forecast of Profit and Loss Statement, Statement of FinancialPosition (balance sheet), and Cash Flow on a yearly and monthly basisanalyzing and keeping record of FC assumptions to explain deviations tomake sure forecast goals are attained. Bethe trusted partner for the Project Team by Collaborating, Leading andEducating team members from other areas on all financial and compliancetopics. Supportthe Project Manager in identifying, reporting, avoiding or mitigatingnon-conformance costs; supports the implementation of lessons learned intoown project and the organization in general. LeadRisk & Opportunities identification and reporting process for theproject. Handle the risks, contracts, and claims, ensuring compliance withLimits of Authority guidelines for commercial aspects. Ensureeffective communication with all relevant internal and external partnerssuch as BU and Segment Management, HR, Quality Management, EnvironmentHealth and Safety, customers, suppliers. Partners with Procurement onnegotiations with vendors and leading/supporting the claim managementprocess. Activelyparticipate in change order negotiations with the customer taking the leadfrom the commercial perspective and ensuring price calculations andproposals are beneficial to Siemens. To thrive in this role, you have: Bachelor's degreein Accounting/Finance/Economics or related Business degree. Demonstratedsuccess in participating or leading projects over the last 2+ years. Knowledge ofAccounting principles in alignment with Financial Reporting Guidelines,International Financial Reporting Guidelines and US GAAP. Experience inFinancial Planning and Controlling. Ability to readand interpret contract conditions. Strongunderstanding of Percentage of Completion accounting method and projectcontrolling requirements (accurate bookkeeping, risk and opportunitymanagement, currency management). Experience incontract negotiations (customer change orders and claims as well asnegotiations with vendors). Working knowledgeof continuous improvement initiatives. Setting you apartfrom others would be a Master's or MBA with knowledge of SAP and 5 yearsof experience leading projects from a financial perspective. Why you'll love working for Siemens!
