Warehouse Associate/Lift Truck Operator - 2nd/3rd Shift Shaw Industries is looking for Forklift/Reach Truck Operators & Warehouse Associates for 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities in the Port Wentworth and Rincon area. Starting pay is $19.16 -21.64/hr. LTO II associates have the opportunity to progress at 6 months to $22.53/hr and 1 year to $24.07/hr. Hours available for this position are: 2nd shift hours are Monday - Friday 3pm-11pm 3rd shift hours are Monday - Friday 11pm - 7am. Responsibilities: Receiving a pull task with information on the flooring material to be pulled and retrieving the correct material with a lift truck. Transporting a pallet by fork lift to and from location. Transport flooring material from trailers to storage location, and from storage location to the customer or Shaw trucks for shipping. Maintain a safe work environment Responsible for reporting unsafe storage areas (leaning pallets, damaged walls, etc.) and unsafe working conditions to Supervisors. Read, write and comprehend shipping documents, bin locations, and store orders. Tape and repair any damaged packaging. Maintain clean and tidy workspaces.
