Come join us and help us build The DNA of tech. Vishay Dover is seeking a full-time Material Handler for Receiving in a clean, climate-controlled environment. Starting wage depends upon experience. Vishay offer flexible scheduling, consistent hours, and opportunities for overtime. Also, promotional opportunities are available within the first year of employment. We're located southwest of downtown Dover which is the largest city in the New Hampshire Seacoast region, the oldest permanent settlement in New Hampshire, and the seventh oldest in the U.S.A. We're less than seven miles from the main campus of UNH, and another fun fact is that Dover even is the birthplace of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. What you will be doing: Facilitates physical receipt of shipped items from carriers at the loading dock or shipping/receiving door. This may include boxes or pallets of raw materials for orders, supplies, chemicals, and equipment. Unpacks and facilitates verification of the received packages against purchase orders or invoices in a timely manner. Completes system transactions, maintains records of received goods/documentation, and notifies interested parties of receiving issues in a timely manner. Labels raw materials and efficiently facilitates moving materials to incoming inspection, stockroom, or designated storage location including the Vertical Storage Unit. Maintains KPIs for the Receiving area. Prioritizes high visibility or expedited materials. Maintains chemical shelf-life logs and ensures good inventory control practices for expiration dates and system inventory accuracy. Executes EHS chemical and hazardous waste handling protocols as applicable. Conducts inventory control activities as part of the material handling team. This may include physical and administrative tasks such as maintaining the Receiving dock area, conducting inventory cycle counts, and acting in a backup role for incoming inspection, shipping, and kitting. What you will bring along: High School diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years' experience preferred. Experience with software systems including Microsoft Office products (Excel preferred).
