Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift Job Type: Contract Position Urgency: Quick Start Overview: We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift contract assignment. This role is ideal for a confident ER nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality emergency care during overnight hours. Schedule: Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Three 12-hour shifts per week 36 hours per week guaranteed Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of all acuity levels Perform rapid assessments, triage, and interventions Administer medications and treatments per physician orders Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergent situations Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record Requirements: Active California RN license Minimum of 3 years Emergency Room experience Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Proof of negative TB screening within the last 12 months prior to contract start Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently during night shifts Specialty: Nursing Sub-Specialty: Emergency Room Nurse EMR System: CPSI / Evident Additional Information: Holiday coverage may be required Candidates must meet the minimum qualifications and hold the required certifications to be eligible for application.
