How You Will Make History Here... Serve as a trusted HR partner in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, directly supporting production goals, safety standards, and operational excellence. Help shape a positive, compliant, and engaged workplace culture across a large, multi-shift hourly workforce. Drive consistent application of HR policies while balancing employee experience and business outcomes. Maintain a visible presence on the plant floor, building credibility and trust with frontline employees and leaders. What You Will Do... Lead full cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried site roles, including production, maintenance, warehouse, quality, and supervisory positions. Partner with staffing agencies and contingent labor providers to align workforce levels with production demands. Conduct interviews, support hiring events, and assist with workforce ramp ups during peak production periods. Coordinate and deliver new hire orientation with a strong focus on safety culture, GMPs, attendance expectations, and plant policies. Ensure timely completion of onboarding documentation, background checks, I-9 compliance, and benefit enrollment. Administer internal job postings, promotions, transfers, pay changes, and bidding processes (if applicable). Support workforce planning through headcount tracking, vacancy management, and overtime monitoring. Administer full life cycle leave management, including FMLA, ADA, short term disability, and workers' compensation coordination. Partner with third party leave vendors and maintain accurate HRIS records for absences and return to work dates. Coordinate return to work processes, including medical restrictions and interactive discussions. Prepare benefit continuation, termination, and required compliance documentation. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, attendance, pay, and workplace concerns. Coach supervisors on performance management, attendance management, corrective action, and conflict resolution. Support and conduct employee relations investigations, ensuring confidentiality and proper documentation. Partner with operations and EHS leadership on policy enforcement and workplace conduct matters. Support benefits education sessions and annual open enrollment. Coordinate and document random drug and alcohol testing in compliance with company policy. Conduct exit interviews and analyze trends for site leadership. Manage unemployment claims and prepare supporting documentation. Coordinate severance agreements, payments, and outplacement services when applicable. Ensure proper offboarding processes, including badge access removal and final documentation. Prepare and distribute HR communications related to policy updates, schedule changes, and site initiatives. Administer site recognition programs and employee engagement initiatives. Post and maintain required labor law notices throughout production areas. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience. Support corporate and site HR initiatives, engagement events, safety celebrations, wellness activities, and town halls. Who You Will Work With... Bachelor's Degree required 1+ years of HR experience Experience supporting a manufacturing environment or high volume hourly workforce Working knowledge of employment law, employee relations, FMLA, and ADA Strong communication, organizational, and problem solving skills Ability to influence frontline leaders and build credibility on the plant floor Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Ability to exercise sound judgment while handling sensitive and confidential information It Would Be Great If You Have... Experience supporting multi-shift or 24/7 manufacturing operations Familiarity with safety sensitive, GMP, or highly regulated environments Compensation and Benefits: The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $65,400-$94,100. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
