Phlebotomy Supervisor Lead with purpose at McCullough-Hyde. As our Phlebotomy Supervisor, you'll guide Phlebotomy Trainers, Lead Phlebotomists, Lab Process Techs, and Lab Assistants across draw sites, outpatient settings, physician offices, and health fairs. You'll own scheduling, workflows, equipment readiness, and supply management while hiring, coaching, and developing a high-performing Support Services team. Partnering closely with lab leadership and clinical departments, you'll elevate patient experience in specimen collection and processingand ensure unwavering compliance with CAP, OSHA, JCAHO, HIPAA, and TriHealth standards. Poplar St., Oxford, OH 45056 Job Requirements: High School Degree or GED is required Driver's License 1-2 years' experience Clinical Allied Health 2 years of phlebotomist experience preferred. Current or previous leadership experience (Lead phlebotomist, supervisor, team lead, etc.) is preferred. Job Overview: The Phlebotomy Supervisor at McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital oversees a dynamic team including Phlebotomy Trainers, Outpatient Lab Coordinator, Lab Process Techs, Lead Phlebotomists, Phlebotomists, and Lab Assistants across physician offices, draw sites, and community health fairs. This role is responsible for scheduling, duty assignments, productivity, equipment maintenance, supply management, and implementing new procedures and equipment. The supervisor leads hiring, performance counseling, and appraisals for Support Services staff while ensuring exceptional customer service in specimen collection, processing, and referral services for patients, physician offices, and nursing teams. Working collaboratively with lab managers and other departments, this position develops efficient workflows, promotes high employee morale, and ensures compliance with CAP, OSHA, JCAHO, HIPAA, and TriHealth standards. Job Responsibilities: This position is responsible for the supervision of Phlebotomy Trainers, Outpatient Lab Coordinator, Lab Process Techs, Lead Phlebotomists, Phlebotomists and has oversight of Lab Assistants POC in Support Services or physician offices, draw sites, and/or working at health fairs. This position is responsible for scheduling, duty assignments, productivity, maintenance and repair of equipment, ordering supplies, and implementation of new equipment and procedures. This position is responsible for hiring, terminating, provides performance counseling and appraisals for the Support Services team. This position is responsible for providing optimal customer service in specimen procurement, specimen processing and referral services as well as accommodating outpatient, physician office clients, nursing personnel and visitors for any laboratory service. This position uses a team approach to work with their one-up, Lab managers, supervisors, site managers or administration, as well as other departments to develop processes and procedures to establish efficient workflow and use of resources to resolve issues, to promote a high level of employee morale and to ensure a high level of satisfaction with TriHealth's lab services. This position reviews the work of the phlebotomists to ensure accuracy, quality and to ensure employee adherence to all rules, regulations, standards and policies including CAP, OSHA, JCAHO, HIPAA and other regulatory agencies as well as TriHealth's Corporate Compliance Plan.
