Hiring For CNC Machinists Pay up to $35/hr. with OT, eligible for $200 per diem per day for out of state applicants We are seeking a skilled Lathe Machinist to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC lathes or mills, ensuring high-quality production and adherence to safety standards. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to recommend improvements in work methods. Skills Geometric dimensional & tolerances and math skills. Ability to read machining CNC programs and understand common 'G' and 'M' codes. Experience with CNC lathes or mills. Understanding of basic tabletop gages micrometers, calipers, bore micrometers. Capacity to run multiple machines at once. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with CNC lathe and machine shop operations. Familiarity with Okuma, Multi Spindles, and manual machines. Swiss lathe experience with more than 5 years on the machine. Good verbal and written communication skills. Organization and time management skills. Problem-solving and analysis skills.
