Coil Winder (Machine Operator) - 1st Shift

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Coil Winder (Machine Operator) - 1st Shift. We are a leader in the design and production of critical power distribution products for many specific segements. The Coil Winder (Machine Operator)- 1st Shift role offers a full time work week of 40 hours and potential overtime. Hours: 5:00am- 1:30pm. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you'll do:This position will be responsible for winding coils used in electrical equipment and instruments or as electronic components, according to wiring diagrams, sample coil, or work order, using coil-winding machines and hand tools. Reviews wiring diagrams and work order or examines sample coil to ascertain type and size of wire specified, and type, size, length, circumference, and primary and secondary windings of coil to be wound.In this function you will:Wind standard coils for dry type transformersUtilize hook-up/hot work assembly tools to meet production demandsInspect product quality and installation to ensure conformance to production quality standards related to coil dimension, bus bar location, etc.Maintain a minimum of 80% of productivity time standardsAdhere to company regulations, including adherence to policies regarding safety, attendance and punctualityInterpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics and blueprintsKeep all work areas clean, organized and presentableComply with all applicable U.S. export control and security regulationsQualifications:Required (Basics):Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the futureNo relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered.
