Billing Specialist Contract-to-Hire Location: Troy, MI (Remote, with on-site attendance once per month) Pay Rate: $21$24/hr (based on experience) Supported By: LHH Recruitment Solutions LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with our client in Troy, MI, to add a Billing Specialist to their team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys problem-solving, cross-functional communication, and managing a high-volume workflow. While the position is primarily remote, candidates must be local and available for monthly on-site team meetings. Key Responsibilities Order Analysis & Processing Review direct sales orders and supplier invoices for accuracy Process orders within the Unity Enterprise POS system Collect required supporting documentation (EDI files, supplier portals, Coupa, etc.) Problem Solving & Cross-Functional Communication Research and resolve invoice discrepancies Communicate with suppliers, sales associates, and Branch contacts Request revised invoices, credits, or clarification when needed Ticket & Workflow Management Manage and respond to billing tickets in ServiceNow Maintain an organized queue and prioritize past-due or urgent items Reporting Support month-end billing activities Ensure all outstanding issues are resolved in a timely and accurate manner About the Role Contract-to-Hire opportunity with conversion occurring in 3-4 months.
