Warehouse & CDL Driver

Warehouse And Delivery Driver This position is responsible for the completion of customer order requests and the loading of product onto delivery trucks and/or customer vehicles. This position will also serve as a CDL driver that is responsible for delivering and unloading bulk and packaged goods to customer locations on an as-needed basis. Responsibilities: Warehouse Operations o Receive incoming inventory and placing product in proper bin locations o Restock bins when empty or near empty o Maintain accuracy in customer order picking o Generate customer Bill of Lading (BOLs) from the accounting system to ensure customer orders are prepared for delivery o Picking "will-call" orders for customers o Attach appropriate Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) to proper shipping documents o Assist in kitting of bulk products as directed by supervisor o Maintain cleanliness of warehouse o Assist in maintenance of exterior surroundings due to inclement weather; snow shoveling, salting of parking lots, etc. o Other tasks as assigned Driving & Delivery o Deliver freight, dried goods, and bulk to customers o Pick up return merchandise from customers o Pick up merchandise from vendors o Load, secure, transport, and unload materials safely and efficiently o Complete delivery paperwork, logs, and electronic documentation accurately o Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections o Communicate professionally with customers, and warehouse staff o Operate delivery vehicle safely o Obey all guidelines as required by DOT and Rowleys Competencies: Communication Self-motivated Timeliness Teamwork Integrity Hours: This is a full-time hourly position with the potential for overtime. When driving a commercial vehicle, daily scheduled hours may vary based on delivery route. Dress Code: Company provided uniform and steel-toed/composite boots with annual boot stipend. Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift up to 75 pounds routinely throughout assigned work schedule as well as roll a 55-gallon drums and carry freight on uneven surfaces. The employee must be capable of pulling and pushing large skids with the assistance of an electric pallet jack. The employee must be able to climb steps in and out of a truck cab. The employee will work in both warm and cold conditions. The employee must have the ability to be on their feet for 6+ hours daily when working in the warehouse. Additionally, the employee must maintain a medical card, by passing a DOT physical prior to hire and periodically as mandated by DOT. Required Experience: CDL A or B with airbrakes 1 year driving experience 21+ years old Forklift experience Pallet jack experience Preferred Experience: Hazmat endorsement (company will assist in obtaining) Tanker endorsement (company will assist in obtaining) RF scan guns ERP system usage Proficient computer usage
