Job Details What Youll Do Serve as the primary liaison for all customer communication, order activity, and shipping requirements. Manage and process daily EDI releases, ensuring the plant has accurate and up-to-date schedules. Proactively communicate shipping status, timing, and order updates to customers. Partner closely with Production, Materials, and Shipping to meet daily shipping and build requirements. Distribute rolling 5-week schedules to internal departments to drive accurate planning. Prepare, verify, and maintain all shipping documentation for each days outbound activity. Work with Quality, Production, and Shipping teams to resolve customer concerns quickly and effectively. Participate in root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Support compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, and all internal safety and environmental standards (OSHA/MIOSHA). What You Bring Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing environmentplastics experience preferred. Direct interaction experience with OEMs (experience with GM and Ford scheduling is a plus). Strong understanding of materials flow, logistics, and shipping coordination. Proficiency with EDI systems, scheduling releases, and ERP/MRP platforms. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
