Daily Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages Perform contact lens fittings and provide guidance on proper lens care Administer visual field testing and diagnose ocular diseases Assist with pre-testing procedures and refraction Educate patients on eye health and treatment options Required Skills: Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution Experience in eye care, contact lens fittings, and visual field testing Knowledge of ocular diseases such as diabetic retinopathy and cataracts Proficiency in pre-testing, refraction, and optometry equipment Ability to provide patient recall and postoperative care Nice to Have Skills: Experience with Optomap and Optical Coherence Tomography Knowledge of vision therapy and low vision services Familiarity with LASIK procedures and prescription dispensing Salary and Benefits: Minimum Salary: $135,000.00 Maximum Salary: $145,000.00 Continue Education Reimbursement Vacation Leave Sick Leave Holiday Pay Paid Time Off Signing Bonus Relocation package Company Information: Veo Vision Center is an eye care clinic providing comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, dry eye treatment, and management of ocular diseases for adults and children in Connecticut.
