Aerospace Assembler Payrate: $23 to $27 per hour Shift: 6:00am-3:30pm M-Th and 6:00am-2:30pm every other Friday Location: Everett, WA Job Description This position involves performing a variety of non-routine and non-repetitive production assembly operations of complex electronic assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, circuitry boards, panels, drawers, and cables, including magnetic or harnesses. The role requires using metrics to define standards for productivity, quality, and cost, ensuring all defined standards are met. Responsibilities Determine methods and sequence of assembly operations accurately, even when complete information is not readily available. Use wiring diagrams and assembly drawings correctly. Create and make initial layout with precision. Perform wiring, component installation, and hand soldering with efficiency and attention-to-detail, working from assembly drawings or pictorial information. Make continuity checks of work in process and completed units. Disassemble, modify or rework, reassemble and test units accurately and efficiently. Perform stripping, tinning or bending parts; fastening terminal connections correctly and efficiently. Use schematics or blueprints, wiring lists, parts lists, and verbal and written instructions to accurately assemble, modify or reassemble units. Train lower-level assemblers. Follow all environmental health and safety policies and procedures and model safe work practices. Contribute to and support a positive and respectful workplace. Essential Skills Assembly, electrical, and electronic knowledge. Soldering, SMT, and electronic assembly skills. Proficiency with blueprints and surface mount technology. Experience with wire harness assembly, disassembling, and component installation. Skill in using hand tools, power tools, and microscopes. Additional Skills & Qualifications Good hand/eye coordination. Knowledge in hand soldering, de-soldering, and wiring. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Problem-solving skills with ability to determine a course of action based on guidelines. Strong focus and attention to detail. Ability to work independently with limited supervision and effectively as part of a team. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
