Position Overview SouthernCarlson, a national distributor of construction, fastening, industrial and construction supplies, is seeking a delivery driver to join our team of successful team of associates. What You'll Be Doing Perform routine inspection of vehicle and merchandise to ensure road safety. Operating a flat bed truck delivering nail pallets to customers. Plan route to and from customers businesses and adjust for traffic and/or construction. Warehouse activities to handle deliveries and support the warehouse team. This included pulling orders for the next day. Safely transport merchandise to customers in a timely, safe, and courteous manner. Load truck with daily merchandise to be delivered as well as unload merchandise for customer. Prepare and maintain records in accordance with company policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with management, co-workers and/or customers to resolve any delivery issues. Assist the warehouse team in between deliveries. Assist with tools repairs as needed.
